I had a very solid time during the internship. This is my first time on doing non-human primate model and HIV-related topic. By actually participating in HIV- and STLV1-related researches, the experience provides me insights on the current situation that can not be told on reference reading. Dr. Akari maintains an open atmosphere for doing research and encourages lab members to share their own opinion during discussion. Hopefully, there will be chance to collaborate in the future."
